Poetry, anyone?

Due to the success of Michael Crowley’s first poetry pamphlet, we have decided to reprint and relaunch. In their review of Close to Home, Sabotage wrote: Sabotage wrote: It’s a pamphlet of assured maturity and quiet strength. Michael recently read from Close to Home at the Dukes Theatre, Lancaster and was very well received.
After its success at the Manchester 24/7 festival and the Bolton Octagon Theatre, Michael’s latest play, The Cell, is being shown at the Unity Theatre in Liverpool May 7th to 9th. (I’ve seen it, and I highly recommend it.)
Michael will be in Liverpool and Close to Home will be available to purchase there. It can also be bought from our website here: http://www.prolebooks.co.uk/page10.html

The latest issue of Prole, packed with quality writing, including a short story and a new poem by Michael, is also available from our website.

Issue 10, out now!

Eeeyup (says the non-Welsh co-editor - and the Welsh co-editor still tries to decipher if that is English or not) issue 10 of Prole is now available through our website http://www.prolebooks.co.uk/page5.html as usual it is packed with engaging poetry and prose and features the winner and runners up of this year's Prole Laurate Poetry Competition. Go on, wet your whistle.
